Daines Hand-Picked Senate Candidate Gets Lampooned on Twitter Over Campaign Photo

The “three amigos” establishment politicos in Montana, Steve Daines, Greg Gianforte, and Ryan Zinke, all have one thing in common when it comes to Montana politics…an open disdain for US Representative from Montana Matt Rosendale.

Rosendale, who is equally disliked within the walls of DC for his open defiance of House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, is widely expected to announce his intention to run for US Senate against incumbent Jon Tester in the 2024 election. The “three amigos” couldn’t have that scenario play out so they threw their support behind their hand-picked guy, former Navy Seal and multi-millionaire Tim Sheehy.

Sheehy, a political newcomer, has taken a lot of lumps lately from pundits and supporters on the left as more and more information about the Aerial Firefighting Pilot comes to light. That being said, a recent snafu on Sheehy’s website provided cannon fodder for those on both sides of the aisle as a campaign photo of Sheehy was posted that depicted him in Kentucky and not Montana, which is where his election is being held.

The picture has since been removed from Sheehy’s campaign website, but as we all know the internet is forever.

The fun really began on the whole “picture-gate” snafu when knowledge of the mistake reached the Twitter-sphere, where the memes started flying.
