In a world immersed with a “me first” culture, it is refreshing to know someone who posses modesty, honesty and, more importantly, one who possess a servant’s heart.
There are probably numerous people who fit the above description, perhaps even in your own family; consider yourself blessed if that’s the case.
In Montana’s Flathead Valley, we have such a person. Conservative icon, Mr. Ray Thompson.
Whether it is supporting the fine arts, funding the ACE Scholarship program or feeding hundreds of people “on the house” for Thanksgiving Day at his family-owned restaurant, Sykes Diner, Ray Thompson has touched the lives of families and individuals throughout Montana for decades.
Ray Thompson is extremely generous, but he is also quite modest and doesn’t seek the spotlight. It is for that reason that I am especially delighted that he decided to sit down with me for a chat.
Please take the time to get some insight into one of Montana’s most generous philanthropists and someone who’s legacy will live on in Montana for many years to come.
