Former Sydney, Montana pastor and founder of the now defunct Montana Daily Gazette, Jordan Hall was charged with Embezzlement over 10K last year and now faces a jury trial in March of 2024 which could put him behind bars for 10 years.

Hall, a lightning rod for controversy, shook up the political landscape in Montana for over a year with his activism and reportage’, which mainly attacked liberal detractors while supporting ideas favored by the right.

Hall’s troubles seemed to begin when he was arrested in May of 2022 and charged with Driving Under the Influence of Drugs and Alcohol, Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs, and Carrying Concealed Weapon While Under the Influence. Even though Hall denied all accusations, he was found guilty of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs in May of this year, which is a misdemeanor.

Unfortunately for Hall, his misdemeanor charges are the least of his concerns as he was also charged with the much more serious and punitive crime of Embezzlement over 10K, which carries a maximum of 10 years in prison and a $50,000 fine.
