Developing: Credit Union Victims from Lincoln County, Montana Contact NWLNews

Since NorthWest Liberty News began dropping evidence on the organized crime ring operating in NW Montana, several victims have found the courage to come forward and tell their stories of the suspicious and seemingly predatory lending practices of Montana’s Largest Credit Union, Whitefish Credit Union (WCU).

Until now, our investigation into organized land theft in NW Montana has mainly focused on Flathead County because the overwhelming majority of victims researched and interviewed by this news outlet had crimes committed against them in Flathead. However, we were recently contacted by a Montana woman who represents 4 victims, including herself, in neighboring Lincoln County and has expanded our investigation.

After publishing several articles on the NW Montana Land Scandal, NWLNews received the following message:

They stole my 231 acres in Lincoln County. We have more info for you. All documented.

After the above message was received, NWLNews reached out to the victim who stated that there are 3 more victims that she knows personally and scores of others who are acquaintances of hers that all have similar stories.

In the case of the Lincoln County woman who reached out to us, the title company, law firm, and credit union are all the same players involved in the Thorco vs. WCU case, but it’s likely just a coincidence.
