______
Montana legislator Lola Sheldon-Galloway (HD 22) appeared on NorthWest Liberty News with host James White on Monday to recap the 2023 legislative session, which ended just last week.
______
______
Sheldon-Galloway, a staunch Conservative Republican, was instrumental in what is being considered one of the most successful legislative sessions for Republicans in recent memory, as several key pieces of legislation were, and will be, signed into law.
However, it was a piece of legislation that might be coming in Montana’s future, and not one already passed, that Sheldon-Galloway addressed in the interview that is most timely in today’s sketchy economic climate and out-of-control inflation… and that is sound money.
______
______
Essentially, sound money is gold and silver coinage that can be used to transact business without the burden of the diminishing Federal Reserve Note, otherwise known as the US Dollar. The move to sound money is underway in many states, and Sheldon-Galloway would support Montana also going in that direction. Hear Sheldon Galloway support sound money in the video below.
