As trucks backed up for a reported 20+ miles just inside the US-Canadian border crossing, NorthWest Liberty News assistant Debbie Westlake scored a prime spot on the highway overpass that shadows the border with the intent of capturing history.
While braving the cold, and very spotty cell coverage, Westlake managed to get some excellent interviews and photos with patriots from Montana and several states in the surrounding vicinity. The parking lot quickly filled up with cars carrying one or two patriots, while many more had entire families in tow for the event.
The trucks that were supposed to be coming up the highway from the south didn’t make it to Westlake’s vantage point before the live stream ended, but she made the best of the situation and scored several patriotic, inspiring interviews.
